Splinter Cell Double Agent

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is the fourth installment in the Splinter Cell series of video games developed and published by Ubisoft. The series, endorsed by American author Tom Clancy, follows the character Sam Fisher, a "Splinter Cell" employed by a black-ops division of the National Security Agency, dubbed Third Echelon.
Double Agent was released for the Xbox 360 on October 19, 2006. The PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo GameCube versions were released on October 26, 2006. The Windows version was released on November 17 and the Wii version on November 28. A PlayStation 3 version was released on March 30, 2007.
Originally the game was set for a March 2006 release, but Ubisoft moved the release date to September 2006 in order to have more development time. Ubisoft then released their fiscal quarter results for Q1 2006 and announced that Splinter Cell Double Agent would be put back at least one month in order to boost Q3 2006 income.
There are actually two separate versions of Double Agent. One version (Generation Seven version) was made by Ubisoft Shanghai, who developed Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and was released on the Xbox 360, Windows, and PlayStation 3. The other version (Generation Six version) was made by Ubisoft Montreal (Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory) and was released for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Wii. The Generation Seven version features a completely custom engine while the Generation Six version plays more like the classic Splinter Cell games. The games share the same general plot but feature different storylines, plot twists, and levels. Even the levels they share have completely different level designs. They do however, share the same background music and a few cut scenes.

Nearly three years ago, Electronic Arts brought its Medal of Honor series of World War II-themed first-person shooters to the PC in Medal of Honor Allied Assault, and that game went on to become highly influential. By combining intense run-and-gun shooting action with an incredibly authentic atmosphere and some spectacular set-piece battles, Allied Assault helped establish the genre's current high standards. Seemingly countless other historic war-themed shooters have been released since then, so it's become very difficult for such a game to distinguish itself...or even compete. Nevertheless, developer EALA was apparently up to the challenge with Medal of Honor Pacific Assault, which takes the series into the Pacific theater of WWII and once again delivers some intense and challenging firefights in its single-player campaign, while also offering a solid multiplayer component for the long haul. Pacific Assault has a few rough edges (long loading times, chiefly among them) and is demanding of even today's fastest PCs, but it ultimately succeeds at delivering a Hollywood-style World War II experience, and it also features a few unique twists.

At various points in the game, the player will be able to choose between good and evil paths. There are multiple endings depending on how the game is played out. In addition, the player will decide which villains to fight against. The player will be able to switch between the classic red and blue suit, and the Symbiote suit at any time during gameplay.[2] Chris Scholz from Shaba Games also commented that the developers "worked on really separating the black and red suits to give the player a different feel." The traditional 2-D overhead view will be removed, replaced by a new 3D map with an "X", "Y" and "Z" axis which shows the player's position in three-dimensional space (north and south, as well as vertical position). Also, as a Wii exclusive, there are 6 alernate costumes (Spider-Carnage, Spider-Armor, Ben Riley, Spider-man 2099, Cosmic Spiderman and the Iron Spider suit.)

Catwoman puts you in the role of the former Patience Phillips. After a brief tutorial-like sequence that demonstrates Catwoman's moves, you're shown a brief cutscene that is meant to reveal the mystical origins behind Patience's transformation into Catwoman. This noninteractive sequence isn't really clear, but it's still probably the easiest part of the story to follow. From there, you're never really given much in the way of motivation. Welcome to the cruel streets of Grand Central City, an urban jungle, steeped

to protect his homies from rival gangs in Grand Central City.

Fight fire with fire; hurt crime with crime. When even the cops assigned to
protect you are corrupt, the only way forward is to take the law into your
own hands.
Tre, a typical inner-city kid from the 'wrong' side of town, has just come
of age in Grand Central City. It's Tre's time to make a difference the only
way he knows how, and the only way there is how, by serving the local gang.

Of course being in a gang is never easy, but in recent years gang life in
Grand City Central has become even harder. Full-scale street battles have
only recently gone back underground, with the balance of power shifting from
Big Dog's 'Outlawz' to ambitious newcomers 'Grand Central Justiss' led by
Kingpin. In order to make a difference, Tre must know how to work all the
old rivalries and form new bonds of trust to act in his favour.

The ultimate aim of Crime Life: Gang Wars is to make Tre a gang leader so he
can lead his own homies into battle. If Tre can prove himself tough enough
for the job, taking on tagging, general vandalism and theft as part of his
daily duties he can move on to bigger business and really start to turn
things around. The action is primarily fighting, but in between there are
cool cinematic cut scenes to fill in the story, with some dramatic turning
points thrown in to catch you by surprise.
